October 17,2013
On September 10th I completed 6 push-ups, 11 curl-ups and 54 step-ups during the fitness test. On October 2nd I completed 10 push-ups,17 curl-ups and 97 step-ups during the fitness test.
I improved in every aspect of the fitness assessments. I improved because I pushed myself during the class warm ups and exercises to make sure I would got more fit. The upper-body workouts every day helped me a lot with my push-up since I made sure to increase my weight every so often. The same applies with my step-ups and the weighted and bodyweight squats and lunges. Since we didn't work on our abdominal muscles much during class, my progress can be accredited to me pushing myself to do better since I knew I had in all the other areas.
I did try my best and to improve even more I can start doing these exercises regularly at home. I could run//jog/walk in the cove around my house to improve my cardio which as a result would lower my heart rate during the next step-up test.I could also improve by doing extra curl-ups at home to build on the exercises we did in class.
